which wall colour should I choose?

I don't know wich wall colour i should use.... my sofas are lite beige and I will apply a grape colour for curtains... this colour is already been applied to the small pillows on the sofas...
plz.. I need ur help

If you haven't already bought / made the curtains - I'd suggest the same beige for the curtains as the sofa - then grape for the walls - then if you fancy a change in a few years you only need to change the cushions and repaint the walls ?

Gray is the new beige. Neutrals are necessary to keep a home from looking like a box of crayons, but do you really want to have your whole home painted neutral? Almost no one hates beige or gray, but I rarely find anyone who says "My favorite color is Gray!" or "I love beige!" I had a white walls and light beige tile floors for many years and people would come into my home and say how clean my home always looked. With all the natural light it did always scream clean! Now I have a maroon kitchen, purple undertoned taupe ceilings and walls in the main part of the home and blue greens in the bathrooms and bedrooms. My accents are blue greens, purples and reds. People come in now and say "Your home is beautiful", "Who helped you find these colors?", "Wow, I love your home!". My house is not what you will find in any magazine, it defies trends and will never be dated. I picked colors that I love and added a neutral that worked with the deep reds, blue greens and purples that I love. Picking the right neutral was really dependent on picking the colors that I love and finding the neutral that worked best with those colors. What is your favorite outfit. The one that makes you feel like you are walking on water? If it is a grey suit with a bright red shirt, then paint your home grey and have bright red accents. You want your home to reflect who you are, not what is popular today.

I would go for high gloss mustard green wet wall where the tiles were. This colour looks great with aubergine and the sleek finish will instantly update the kitchen. Positional ceiling halogens and lighting under the wall cupboards to make the rich colours glow. I think three colours are fine, especially if you pull them together in a blind fabric or cushion. ???

Or don't use wallpaper at all, and restore the fireplace, not sure if that was intended, as that will be a lovely feature in the room itself. One other way is to put wallpaper on the wall opposite the fireplace, which you can see from the open arched entrance, just make sure that whichever wallpaper you use flows also with the room leading into the current room from the arched open entrance, as it will be visible from there. Personally I do not like wallpapers used just on the chimney or on the chimney wall especially when there is a beautiful fireplace there which should be the most important feature in itself, but that is my personal preference...

Hi We provide LED lamps in 2700K (very warm - yellow) , 3000K (warm white - yellow), 4000K (cool white - white will a hint of yellow), 5000K (soft daylight - very white), 6000K (daylight - more harsh white with hint of blue). Between different makes of LEDs - there will be variations too. What we have seen is that this is very much on personal preference and also how the light interacts with the colour of the units in your room. You should try some options if possible and see what you prefer. If you want to warm your room up go for warm white. If you want to have a sharper look go for cool whiite 4000K (we are seeing this is getting more popular), if you want seriously white then go for daylight (5-6000K). One thing we recommend against is using all in one LED fixture like the H2, because the LED market is moving fast, In 4 years time, if one fixture fails and this unit is not made anymore, it may be replaced with a non-matching fixture. With a LED GU10, you can just change the bulb without having to replace the fixture. From what I can see in the photographs your room is rather compact. You may find the dark shade of grape rather heavy if used on all the walls. However, it could be very effective if used on one wall (called a feature wall). If you have not bought the curtains yet consider fabric that has a pattern similar to your cushions and includes the grape/purple colour - take one of the cushions or the cover with you when choosing the curtains it will help you find the right colour match. You may also need to change your rug - difficult to see from the photo but the colours will not match if changing it go for a large rug cream background with perhaps a purple swirl of colour. Try a google image search - the picture attached came up in ebay - but there are many more designs available on the high street.
