White kitchen - finishing touches

I've recently knocked kitchen / dining room through and installed white gloss units, oak worktops, wood look floor tiles and chrome accessories. Keen for it to be contemporary and minimalist with some interest. Kelly Hoppen is my fave style. I'm going to replace windows and doors (interior and external door will be all glass). Boiler will boxed in a white unit. Stereo will be replaced. I'm a single girl (30's) and want a cool place to sit with my friends.

I'd be really grateful for your help in choosing the following:

Introduce a colour? Perhaps few items of lime green or teal?

Choose a splash back. Steel or glass, colour?

Choose glass up stands or tiles above sink and hob.

Choose blinds, preferably roller. Colour?

Choose artwork for dining room. I like black & white photograpy but assuming abstract with colour required. What colour?

Does the art work above the fridge work? I like pop art. But not sure this works in kitchen.

I want a poster that says "this kitchen is for dancing!"

I need a table and chairs (will rarely be used) or maybe a sofa. Limited space in dining area.

So grateful for your advice. I'm stuck, wondering if I should get an interior designer in? Thoughts?
