Help with dressing small window in kitchen..

My kitchen will be painted in F&B All White, with skimming stone units and accents of grey, cooker (Stanley) in brown. I need help on how to dress this window next to the cooker. I have had cafe style curtains but a its bit dated. In one of the photos I have a roller blind which is nice from John Lewis Botanical Flowers in linen and steel. I did try finding material to match but this design has now continued. So what's best on this window which is practically next to the other window. I did think Venetian blinds but this would be a nightmare to clean. I do want something there that would let the light through. We never open this window, so anything decorative over the whole thing would work to. Let me know please what you think.

9 years agoI had the same dilemma for 2 years. Recently I found a stained glass panel that I loved in a second hand shop. I placed it against the window to see the colours and it's stayed there lol. It looks lovely when the sun hits it and all the colours stream into my lounge

Comments (2)A slight daring suggestion I have would be to paint on the windows themselves with a very thin layer of watered down acrylic paint or liquid chalk that will dry and begin to make a stained glass window effect as the window is rather small to work with but can become a bit of a feature. Comments (1)We've recently had full length curtains in our bay window and a matching Roman blind at the small window. Our small window is not on the same wall as the bay, but it looks really good. Comments (11)There's another small one on the far end but this is the main radiator. Hmmm it's really interesting that your room is cosy as i've gone to trusty google and can't find anyone who says that radiators don't block the heat. It seems to be a big no no. I'm just so torn between function and fashion. I know it sounds silly. I think part of the problem is it is such a huge window that i would need more than one blind which would look a little odd.
