Has anyone experience of placing bath on steps to add height so we can see out of window whilst bathing?

Just remember a bath full of water and a person ( or even two !) is extremely heavy !! We aren't taking a quick DIY step of MDF and 2"x2" here !! Does depend on how high you want to go, and how strong the existing floor is... Worth getting a pro on to look and advise on site !!!
An Anti slip surface might be a good idea too - as the step will be the first thing your wet feet will be in contact with !!
Be worth it for the views I'm sure !! Enjoy !!!

Hi. The mosaics are beautiful and I think what is throwing you off with the white tiles is that they are matt and not gloss, when the sink and toilet are shiny and the mosaics are shiny. I think it looks good so far and what would really help is to paint the window frame. I would usually say to use semi-gloss, but in this case, try a matt white paint to tie in the white tiles. Still use a moisture-resistant bathroom/kitchen paint to make it last longer. I would put a tall and narrow mirror above the sink in either a venetian style or with a frame that picks up on one of the abalone/capiz shell colours in the mosaic tile (it is difficult to tell exactly what colours are there on my monitor). That will help carry the reflective nature of your mosaics around the room. The pictures below are for ideas only (some only ship within the US, some are crazy prices, and none are the right shape!). Hi. I'm not an expert and often a little knowledge is dangerous! However we had a very uneven floor in our lounge and wanted to install a solid wood floor as the original was not in good condition. The floor can be levelled either using a self levelling compound or by fitting a plywood floor over the top of the original. You should then be able to have the flooring type you want. Vinyl is good quality and great for bathrooms but you do need the floor to be boarded before it can be laid. I think your best bet is to get a free quote from a floor fitter!
