my living room is 4.91m x 4.33m and requires a complete renovation

Secondly, you could take advantage of the space above the radiator and either enlarge the window sill or put a shelf on top. If you are crafty, you could do a wall mounted type table, so you can leave it down when not in use. A couple of easy solutions would be to buy a curtain rail and use it to hang clothes on it. Or buy funky hooks. Or make a clothes hook that's attractive and practical. Lastly, walls above the bed can take a few shelves. You can go simple or funky, but it's a space you could easily utilise. In regard to the walls colour, I'd either go all very light (white or off white) and then have the headboards, shelves, etc. in bold colours. Or you could go one strong colour all around (including ceiling) and keep the rest white or light. Good luck!

You’re trying to fit quite a lot in to what looks like a relatively compact space.. Perhaps prioritise the kitchen/diner for this room - don’t forget there will still be a living room at the front of the house. I would suggest leaving the kitchen where it is (this will help with budget) but still take out the wall as you’d like. Maybe closing off the exit door from the kitchen so that you can run units the whole way down that sink wall and have the island where the cooker is shown at the moment. Perhaps install connecting doors between the front living room and the kitchen/diner so you get the flexibility of opening or closing that room as needs be.

Where are any of the tall units such as fridge, oven etc going? If the sink is at the end presumably you’ll be doing any prep work there plus obviously emptying the DW etc. The breakfast bar is a very long distance from there so was wondering if you’d get the sociable area you’re after? It may be worth speaking to a concept planner. A lot of people use OnePlan on here, Karen works remotely, you just give the measurements and wish list and she can plan the whole space rather than just the kitchen as a kitchen designer would. I think seeing it in 3D would help with your decision too

Taking out a load-bearing wall and building an extension at the front seems like quite a renovation, not a simple/cheap fix I would say. How about making that side entrance door into a window and moving the toilet over to the little nook to the left of it (looking at the door from inside the house), rather than to the right of that door? Might need the space in front of the new window to be part of the new toilet - with access from a new door put into the current space off of the Dining. Instead of removing the whole load-bearing wall, how about making a fairly big internal window in that wall, perhaps forming part of an island in the kitchen. Inserting a lintel above a window would be much easier and cheaper than knocking down the whole wall. Then replace those little windows out to the drive with larger windows including patio door/s for access to the side of the house. All of the above would get you light into your kitchen/dining, move the toilet away from the middle of the space and provide some walk-space as you enter the house to/from the patio side. Only issue is you'd probably have to walk through kitchen/dining to get outside.
