New leather lounge suite colour

Replacing a modern light cream leather lounge suite in a modern living room. Floors are cream marble, stone Fire place, feature walls of charcoal and red, floor to ceiling windows. If we choose a graphite/charcoal colour for the new leather lounge do you think it will darken the room?

Can't decide on colour of new lounge suite? Graphite/charcoal or creamy/white? I'm worried the dark colour draws your eyes to the lounge suite and makes the room look dark and heavy? What do you think?

You have a lovely room up there! Would probably choose Graphite colour because of the floor.

Hello christjne, I am just getting a few images for you.. Hold on.. Oka do some that are rather good.. Also their faux flower collection is really good. This one is from them and also their velvet in Porridge and Pale Sage could be nice along with Mole colour and Caviar is one they have too that would work possibly... .. There is also the option of throws and they have one in Mole and you could also think of stones and other shades of earthy tones... Group with 1 plain mole colour to give accent but I'd say 1 of each together on 1 or 2 sides and a throw or two for the sofa.. You may find some others you like too.. They also have Mirrors and the Cesario large could be very nice, it has a nice bevelled frame with dark wood and accent of gold that would be gr8 with the dark sofa.. All depends on budget as I have many more suggestions including antiques but for something under the one roof as it were... : ))

So excited now by your comments, I'm definitely going with turquoise and taupe with the dark brown sofas. Can't wait to move. I have also noticed those large wall units which would fit in at the back of the lounge as it is a bit of a spare space. The door is in the middle of the lounge and I anticipate the sofas going to the right of the door near the fireplace. Can you buy these or are they bespoke to a each requirement? I'll search....xx

I love gallery walls so yes that would work :). What I mean it put the rectangular lamp on top of the unit at the side of the tv, you will need to find something taller for the other side to balance it out. Could the tall candle holder find another home maybe?
