Need help with choosing colour of architrave FYI doors are white.

Personally, I would always match the architrave either to the walls around it or the door, but never a third colour, so one vote for white!

I tend to go on ebay for cheap poly/cotton duvet covers, which don't last as long as linen but allows me to change my room a bit cheaply and easily. However, I've never noticed just how gendered bedding is, nor how horrible the 'masculine' options are. Single colour tartan duvet cover or camoflage? Euuuch. I did find a few nice duvet covers which didn't feature flowers, butterflies or 'bling'. I think part of the problem is the divide at the same height as a dado which makes it feel very old fashioned. Also because these tiles are different sizes the joints will always sit uncomfortably against one another on the same flat wall. What I would do is tile the majority of the bathroom in the plain tile then have a vertical stripe of the patterned tile that starts on one wall, crosses the floor, then goes up the opposite wall- the strip should be bordered with tile trim so that the joints are separated. Alternatively just tile an accent area with the pattern such as the floor or one wall in the shower

thanks everyone! I decided to get a new door- the door knocker is also too high and it just all irritated me too much. they got a few things wrong, but so far im pleased with their eagerness to put them right. I will post final pic in a few weeks!

Thanks all , I’m now keen to find an inexpensive hardwearing runner that compliments and will hide dirt from muddy paws! I don’t want anything contemporary or modern, I prefer classic English country / ethnic. Any ideas?, like I say it has to hide dirt, or should I ask the carpet people to do a runner in the chosen carpet but that might still show a lot of dirt... thanks

definitely white, go for a water-based eggshell or satin (gloss looks dated and nasty, and oil-based quickly turns yellow)

if you not changing the wall colour you can go for white or use pure wood colour that will give bright look
