Bedroom Window treatment

Can someone advise what kind of window treatment to get and in which colour? I primarily want something that looks nice and will also block light to help me sleep. I was thinking of some black out Roman blinds.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Shutters and curtains look good together and block the light though a roman blind will work out much cheaper.

Not sure what to suggest re colour, your room is neutral so you could choose more or less any colour you wanted really.

Maybe curtains won't work after all if my bed is pushed up against the window! If I didn't choose curtains, what else could I put there? Curtains are so soft, glamorous & romantic. Blinds seem to be a bit boring and un-luxurious. I love interior shutters as well, but they cost a bomb! I was also thinking I could maybe add a canopy for my bed? Perhaps via a thin wire attached to my ceiling, if that makes sense? And only put the curtain/canopy along the bottom and right side of my bed... Then I could draw the canopy across at night to separate the sleeping space but I could leave the curtains/canopy open to let sunlight in via the windows. Would that look ok (esp. as the bed is against a window?) Any thoughts of what to use for my window? Thanks xxx

I like the double roller blind idea. I wouldn't go for curtains on two and something different on the middle as I think they'd look better all matching. You could also do voile blinds recessed and then Roman blinds mounted outside, I think that's the best and simplest option.

Don’t have dimensions but the en suite looks larger than it needs to be. I would move the wall between bedroom and en suite back a few feet then you could have wardrobe storage space along the bedroom side of the new stud wall. As building a new stud wall you could have a pocket door and I would put the bed and bedside tables as in the diagram above facing the window. In the ensuite I would make the shower as wide as possible stretching between the new stud wall and the exterior window wall and put the toilet and basin side-by-side along the window wall

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. I think one of the rooms might well end up with green accents, but I don't think I would like green furniture - would prefer something neutral so that if we wanted to change the colour scheme in the future we could easily without having to replace the furniture. I suspect the other (master) bedroom will end up a more coastal colour scheme. @Sonia, thank you I had been looking at the Cotswold Company so that's good to hear their stuff might work quite nicely. Sadly we don't live that close to any of their stores and I tend to like to see furniture in the flesh but perhaps we'll have to make a trek. Would still be interested to hear what wood types/colours would work best as I don't really like all matching furniture in a room, so I suspect we'll want to have various different items in each of the two bedrooms,.
