I would love to put my daughters room on houzz how would I find out if it is suitable?

Hi there! Do you have any pictures or plans of the room to give us an idea of what you're working with? Adding the windows is going to be one of the best things you can do but there are a few interior design tricks to try. If you paint or paper the walls in a warm shade of white you'll bounce the light around and keep things bright and cheerful. You could also hang a large mirror on the wall opposite the existing window to increase the sense of light coming into the room.

It looks like it's a really nice size and shape room, if you are able to send a better photo of the whole room that would be great. I agree with Man About The House's design, if you could fit some extra storage the other side of the fire place to balance the room and move your table to where you lovely window and sofa to the long wall i think that would work nicely. Bold pictures above the storage units by the fireplace and paint the wall where the sofa is being relocated will make the room feel more like home.
