Hi, thank you for your comment. Sorry to say we don't have the records of where we got the sink, but if you do an internet search for "small bar sink" quite a lot of options show up.

Depends on the room, some designs really suits towel bar, especially when the accessories are intrinsic to the design. Other times you just want to hide things on the back of a door, so both have their place.

You can get granite off cuts all over the place. Then, why not buy a cabinet that you like and put the top on it yourself. It will be very heavy therefore 'grip fix' type adhesive should do the trick. Infinitely cheaper than any other option. Plus you can paint the cabinet any colour you like ! x Just make sure that your slab of granite is bigger than the cupboard to create a good edge for you to tuck a couple of stools under for instance. ! x Lots of people use the same method for bathroom sinks.

Ahhh congrats on impending anniversary ! Might be an idea to just double check ( subtlety ) wether he wants to be reminded of work in this relaxation space before you put effort into finding these pics etc ?! As you might find that he’d prefer to see pictures from happy times ( honey moon / BBQ with pals / walks on beaches etc ) that were relaxing fun and meaningful between you both instead ?!

Hi Pachacat, This seems an exiting little project! Because of the sink i would definite do a splash back. Have you thought of a mirror splash back ? Using mirror will make the space more spacious and brighter. If you definitely wish to do tiles then what about dark tiles and navy blue unit like the below concept image? Shelvings above the bar like "Noir London Design" suggested is definitely a good idea, which you can either do the shelves in timber or glass. Thank you and good luck in your project.
