Hi Martin, it wasn't full wrap-around. We extended 6sqm into the side, and then just added 0.6m to the entire length at the back. We retain one of the side walls to try to save money. However, in the end we went with someone recommended by a friend and it was a disaster as he under-quoted to get the job. In the end we spent nearly £65 including £3.5K on higher-spec flooring and £16K on a higher-spec kitchen. So, doing the maths, I'd say £47K was about right for the rest of the work minus kitchen and flooring. Hope that helps!

This looks to be a semi detached property - is that correct? If so then I wouldn't recommend changing anything dramatically from the neighbours as it'll visually unbalance your half and generally detract from the overall appearance. Just add some planters either side of the front door to soften it off.

Thank you for those links MATH! Cute lampshade, but yes agree a tad expensive for a holiday let. The clock is a bargain, I need to forget my own personal taste and just fill the space I guess. I like the clocks its just it seems everyone seems to have them! Ive seen lots I like but all over £100 plus - I have to be disciplined!!
