Dear Shahlla, thank you for the question. The Elleci Ego sink is available in white but it is best to check with your supplier first. The dimensions for the 1.5 sink are 1000mm x 500mm with a main bowl depth of 230mm.

Hi thanks very much for the useful hints and tips, they've really helped! So far I've done a subtle re-jig of the decorative items on the shelves and thinned them out a bit to make it less busy (and more contemporary). I have added a cushion and throw plus a bit more useful storage baskets and so far I'm happier with it now. I also have to consider the overall flow of the room rather than 1 wall - for example when I walk into the room this wall is on the left and the sofa wall is on the right, and there was a risk that if I added shelves etc on this wall it would then unbalance the look of the room as the sofa walls are so far pretty plain. I'm getting a new sofa next month and when this arrives I'll be able to see the room in its finished form and can make any last minute adjustments!! I want to add some more shiny stuff and will get a nice chrome tray or centrepiece for my glass coffee table. Pffft, this house decor lark can take over your life sometimes :))

Thank you very much for your comments A.S,, Kazza, Casa Ceramica and Jonathan. Apologies for my delayed response! The tiler did indeed suggest putting another layer of aquadry backer board over the moisture resistant mdf so thank you for your concerns. Trouble is he then discovered the edge of the bath has a manufacturing fault so the whole project had to be put on hold until a engineer comes out to solve it. It is so frustrating! Still gives me a little longer to decide how to deal with the chrome strip I want to put down the side of the bath panel and the bath. The tiler said it would not show up very well with the current design where the frame is flush with the bath. If I build it out by 5cm with a sliver of tile, I can have the full effect of it but the downside is the spacing between bath and basin is quite narrow. Your thoughts as always are very welcome!!!! Because the sofas are big heavy and dark I agree that you need to lighten up this room. I wouldn't have additional furniture because I think it looks full already but I might swap your little table lamp for a standard lamp to you have a light that is the same height as the TV. I also think your mirror is undersized, it should hang portrait to make the room seem taller - a round mirror would also work. I would get a white dining table. The mahogany trunk seems to obscure the view of the fireplace- perhaps a lower table should be better. I would also get an oversized houseplant. I don't mind the fireplace. I think you can put any colour on the walls and I don't think it has to be neutral but you should replace the curtains with much paler-perhaps even white. I think one of the reasons for replacing the curtains is the now slightly dated pattern. Perhaps put pattern in art or cushions so it can be changed more regularly. I like the rug but it does dictate your decorating choices- could it go in another room? If it can I think that your instinct is right that a large pale textured rug would be comfy and visually break up the dark tones of the sofas and floor. Lastly I would add a throw and a couple of cushions to make the sofas less imposing, add pattern and break up their darkness.
