8 years agoOrange or red go amazingly well with grey. You can add a splash of colour like below or have a painted feature wall or perhaps a glass splashback. It lifts it beautifully and creates another dimension. Hope this helps, good luck with your project

Comments (20)Skimming Stone looks stunning with blues, including navy, and also pink/red colours. If you think of it as a berry tone, it looks great with everything else in that range: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, gooseberries and green leaves. Comments (8)Lovely kitchen! I think that the wooden floor you have chosen is a good choice. It will bring warmth to the scheme. I think an off white would be a good choice, something like Dulux Timeless or any of the off whites from F&B (see below). If you want more colour you could always paint the dining end a darker shade? But somehow the grey finds a place in the homes of thousands and remains a bestseller. My personal opinion is that this success is strongly influenced by social networks, which impose trends in the interior. What do you think? Don't be impressed, that I don't like grey. I just want to present it differently and break the stereotype - Grey is boring. I would like to present you a project of modern grey and white open plan living room that we designed for our clients. The new owners of this open plan apartment are a young family who bought it from a previous owner. A complete renovation and new interior was forthcoming. They are ambitious, hard-working young people who like to have fun and spend their weekends in a relaxing atmosphere. As young people looking for the modern, grey was their desired colour. Living room with modern furniture, open spaces and white accents. This was their dream home interior. We designed a spacious place to relax, of course with a large super comfortable bespoke sofa in Navy Blue fabric. The kitchen is open plan and extremely stylish with built-in appliances, white shaker kitchen doors and white marble countertops. The dining room is the focal point. I absolutely love grey! I think orange works well with it too as it really adds zing to it. I once walked into an Hotel room which was painted in pale dove grey with white voiles and it complimented the view of the sea perfectly. I've been a fan every since. The image shows my kitchen, recently re- decorated with greys and warm yellow.

8 years agoThe beauty of grey is its versatility. We've done kitchens that combine different shades of grey for a subtle effect. We've also done kitchens where purple has been used as an accent colour in an otherwise grey kitchen. I've attached some images below to demonstrate just some of the ways we have used grey in our work. They all work equally well, proving that pretty much any colour can be placed alongside grey!
