What is the rough estimate for the cost of this theater?

What kind of speakers were used in the panels? How do they work as compared to "normal" speakers outside the wall? What is the screen brand, and is the acoustic material better than normal?

Thanks for asking. The
price of the theater is confidential information but it is as premium a theater as
you can imagine. We do 4 levels of
theater at World Wide Stereo. The modified family room, the customer basic
theater with minimal treatments and customer choice of electronics. The custom tuned Cinematek theater which has
3 levels of acoustic treatment covered by fabric and lastly, a Keith Yates
Design theater. It is a precisely tuned
theater and is at the highest level of personal cinema. This particular theater uses a top of the
line Stewart screen and the acoustic material is as good as it gets. Some is custom made/prepared, some is
production standard and some is good all American fiberglass but all placed at precise locations for best effect. The
design alone took close to 500 hours and the build out was over a year, start to
final. The speakers contained in boxes
and the fabric is acoustically transparent and have no noticeable effect on the
sound. We'd be happy to discuss more with you! We are very proud of this one.

Your very welcome. I am sure you can turn your garden around with that sort of budget. Simple things like painting the existing fence will have a great effect with little outlay. Also, I think someone else has suggested combining gravel with artificial turf- this is a great idea. Perhaps you could run a path of artificial turf along the side passage then a narrow section in the garden with gravelled and planted areas. Reclaimed scaffold boards make nice decking if you can get hold of any. Salvage yards often have them ~£15 for a 3m length, I think it normally works out at about £15 per sqm for the planks. You could leave them bare for a quirky rustic look or stain them grey for a modern feel. Good luck with the garden!

Cost of wet system underfloor heating and recommendation

Hi there, We are just in the process of getting UFH put into our downstairs renovation. The spaces is about 50m sq and we have gone with a low profile wet system from the underfloor heating store (the one in all the house magazines with Sarah Beeny lying on the floor!!) We went with a 4 zone system (pic below) and the cost was £2,300 although we did get a bit of a discount because our interior designer (Gina at Create Perfect) gets trade discount which she passed onto us. The company were super helpful and the customer service was excellent. We had three quotes and whilst these guys were the cheapest when talking through the differences with the other companies, other than better marketing and fancier branding, I could see no technical difference in the product to justify the higher price tag! We are getting our builders to fit in and they are charging £2000. This includes taking up all the old tiles and removing the old grouting (pic below) which was a day or so and then laying the system. We'll have to pay the plumber and electrician to connect it up and both have said no more than a day, so £200 electrician and £130 plumber. So in total for 50 sq meters we'll have paid about £4650. Ugly house - grey rough cast render

our house has grey roughcast render on the exterior. It’s a pretty ugly house and probably always will be but I’d like to improve the look a little. My questions are... *what would be the rough cost of re moving and putting on a new type of render/exterior ( it’s a three bed semi and I realise anything would just be ball park figure but a rough estimate would let me know if it’s worth it or not)? * how successful is painting roughcasting? I don’t mind painting if there is something we can paint the won’t need redoing every couple of years but wouldn’t bother if I’m setting myself up for a task we won’t keep up with? any help or advice would be great.

usually with a mid range finish i find out the 500-600£/m2 refurb price works out plus minus good. if you would like to renovate the whole ground floor. that's incl -plumbing upgrades -electric upgrades -studwalls and remodeling -plastering -painting decorating -kitchen fitting -flooring and tiling not incl client supplied items such as -kitchen -tiles and miscs -2nd fix materials -profession fees if its any structural change
