StairCase / Underfloor Heating dilemma

Need help with our stairs please!! We got new stairs after we tiled the
floor and the new stairs ended up smaller / shorter then our old one. So
ideally we would take the tiles out and put new ones in. However, we
have wet underfloor heating system and to take the tiles out would be
very risky as it could damage the system. Any advice on what to do?
Design ideas how to cover up old tiles with ought taking them out? Any
advice would be very appreciated! Thanks! ( PS: stairs will be walnut
colour and carpeted with light beige carpet up until the last feature
step. )
