Hi,I would like to change a kitchen units.can anyone advise where is the best place to find a cheap kitchen units or maybe its better to buy it from b&q or ikea? Thank you

Hi,it's all kitchen really.I want to change a worktop as well.

I tend to think devices are best charged near where they are used. Is the issue currently a lack of sockets where things are charged? I like the idea of a charging drawer but for me, I know that once something’s away in a drawer it gets forgotten about! When we redid our bedroom recently we put in extra sockets by the bed as that’s where we charge things and it’s worked very well. I might add a narrow shelf with an edge for the kitchen so devices charged there (my phone which doesn’t hold its charge!) can be off the worktop but easily to hand. Angie

Hi Juliet. I haven’t done it with our kitchen units, but I certainly have with every other room in our house, and I have managed to slash costs and get a higher end product as a result. eBay is great - particularly if you know exactly what you want and you have time to wait for it to be listed. When we did our kitchen (years ago!), we got a good deal on the units, but I bought flooring and appliances via eBay. Likewise with a bathroom refit, I chose top of the range brands and products and then waited for them to be listed, either in an eBay shop or listed by an individual who had made a purchase but had changed their mind. I’m currently wanting two new sofas and have a narrowed down brands and models and I’m sitting it out until someone lists them! Always make sure you view them first to check quality and measurements. And double check your own measuring too!

Hi Jen, thanks for the respose. the range is pretty much flush with the front of the units. However the doors open past 180 degree so even if we pulled the range forward the door handles would hit the cupboards. i was hoping someone may have experienced the same issue and found slimer handles.
