Hi Anisa,
The book shelf is from Target. They carry a designer line by Thomas O’Brien called “Vintage Modern." I don't know if they still have it available but you might find something similar there. I hope this helps.

Hi. I can't find bookcases but just another idea. You could have a narrow console table with decorative items on top and then add a couple of ceramic garden stools and dot plants on the floor and from the ceiling. I can only find this image from cheapdecorideas which is similar to what I mean but obviously this is a big room. Alternatively there are lots of narrow benches around.

One of the reasons for the 12 inches is the availability of the wood in different depths. 12 inches is a standard max for cutting boards. However, it is possible to add another 2 inches with more timber as a decorative plynth for instance around the outside making the 14" that you need. Any decent carpenter can do this. It depends entirely on what the bookcase and cabinet are being made from. If it is to be solid wood, then the problem above applies, however, MDF or Conti board can be cut to any size.
