Did you have to sand or prime these before spray painting?

No sanding or priming needed. They come finished but I painted them to match the paint color on the walls.

Thank you all for your input. I need to perfect the art of closing one eye to block out other colours! I was not good at this! I think you need bigger sample cards than I used. I couldn't paint on the wall as there's currently wallpaper there. My local F&B stockist suggested Shaded White which is a nice, "safe" neutral I think and as the room is quite dark, it seems to work better than the greyer shades I was trying. I guess sometimes what you want is different from what will actually work best and Shaded White seems a good compromise. I'm delighted to have got input from you and I'll post some pictures later of items I'm considering using in the room in the hope of some more advice.

It depends on what sort of finish you're aiming for. How big is the niche, do you want sliding doors, openers? What it's being made from will help on narrowing down the expert that you need. You may just need a good carpenter or someone that can put up tracks and sliding doors.

Hi Kirsty, to make best use of the space I would custom build inside the space, this will devide up the sapce for school work, christmas lights ect. where the stair box is. build shelves vertically up into the space.. keep in mind that because it is 3feet deep the draws will help you have access to things in the back. I hope this helped.

Ciao Maria, I had a quick google and you are right, there are very few UK reviews and most of the US reviews are for the ranges. I’m thinking it kind of looks like any other oven, unless it has amazing functions which no other oven has? Hopefully more people will be able to come forward and help you.
