What colours should I choose to go with my aubergine/cream kitchen?
Comments (8)I would go for high gloss mustard green wet wall where the tiles were. This colour looks great with aubergine and the sleek finish will instantly update the kitchen. Positional ceiling halogens and lighting under the wall cupboards to make the rich colours glow. I think three colours are fine, especially if you pull them together in a blind fabric or cushion. ???...See MoreWhat style of kitchen should I choose?
Comments (5)If you have a designer on board they should be able to show you different options with their CAD programme - I do this for people quite often if they can't decide on finishes - although sometimes small changes like swapping out a Belfast sink for an undermount one can make it a little time consuming - having the choice makes it worth it so the client can really see the difference ! As I work for the client - it's all part of the service ! (Then we suggest you shop around and negotiate some great deals with your OnePlan design, which enables you to compare prices 'like for like' rather than having several different designs with all different prices ! We don't sell product - just design)...See MoreWhat colour to choose for kitchen island?
Comments (19)Haugue Blue has quite green undertones to it where as Cornforth White is more red. How about going for the Cornforth White on the perimeter cabinets and Worsted on the island. It will give you a nice contrast without being too dark. This kitchen shot below shows Worsted on the base cabinets and Cornforth on the wall cabinets, the island is also in Worsted with an Oak top. As far as the image above it could well be the same colours on both perimeter and island, but how about Shadow White on the perimeter and Drop Cloth on the island?...See Morekitchen tiles - help not sure what to choose!
Comments (8)I love the tiles and I don't think they are too busy. I might be biased, because I have very similar tiles in my pantry, which is of course much smaller than a kitchen, but still... My theory is: a smaller pattern merges into one, while a larger pattern forces your eyes to follow the lines, so the larger pattern is much more overpowering. Just my theory though. I'm hoping to prove it with the enclosed photos :-D I think they will look fabulous!...See MoreBec
