Hi can anyone tell me I have put Laura Ashley paper on 2 walls of my bed room it has open calling so it's very high. It is French colonial style do you think a modern wall light or go for a French style wall light as I don't know weather to bring some really modern lights to the room.

What type of furnishings are in the room, house ? Lighting should relate somewhat to the decor of the room for best flow

Hi please see photos for furniture I am struggling to know what type of wall light will work as I have no cell ing light just 4 wall lights

Yes. Its quite normal for the front door to be a different colour to the windows. In fact if you take a look around your neighbourhood you'll probably notice that its the norm.

Your hallway is beautiful, but I understand the dark issue! It has made me think about a couple of instagram people that I follow... The first is semi_in_suburbia who had a similar dark hallway and has since painted it. I would do something oversized or two but still oversized, something like these, very nice room btw
