Help with hallway wall colour, with pine panelling
Comments (10)Thanks for your suggestions so far. Here are some pictures. The wood is not original, approx 30 years old. Stained I think, rather dull now. I plan to replace the carpet, and paint the walls - the blue is very cold. Reluctant to paint the wood - too much time and effort when so many other rooms also need attention!...See Morewhat colour skirting please?
Comments (8)I vote for doing skirting and other bits you mentioned in the same colour as the wall. I’ve done the same in both my hall and bedroom and find it makes the room feel taller. I’ve also done cupboards and banisters in same colour in my hall too. Plus your eye isn’t drawn down to the floor by the white skirting against the dark room. It’s a lovely colour by the way!...See Moremarble skirting color choice
Comments (0)I am planning to use a similar light colored beige marble on my living room and dining areas (open concept reception), I wonder if this brown colored marble matches it, what do you think the skirting color be light or dark? and what do you think 9f the brown strip surrounding the wall, will this give an effect of smaller floor?...See MorePainting skirting and walls same colour
