Trying to be a customer

I've been trying to reach somebody at lawn pop for a week now. I've tried email and the posted phone number. Can anybody help me with how you can actually get a hold of somebody and get an estimate? I love the pictures of the work that has been done but to reach someone. Thanks in advance...

If you want privacy at the front of your home to stop people to seeing in, then you could either change your gates to completely enclosed the area and have a CCTV system set up so visitors can alert you when they arrive. Or preferably, you could separate the two drives by erecting a fence between the two garage doors and plant a nice tall hedge 3/4 of the way along the front boundary to obscure the view of the main house. You could then reverse round the hedgerow and park the car at an angle so it is partially obscured by the hedgerow, with CCTV and security lights shining down from the top of the garage to give you peace of mind. It would be lovely to remove the gates and be able to look out of your front door and see the hedgerows, and they would also help to muffle the sound of the traffic

There are quite a few places sell these. What did you google? Curved shower screen, P-shaped bath screen. Try Victorian plumbing , or Screwfix or bathstore or wickes These all do curved screens, where did you get the bath from, do they not do matching shower screens, some do?? Good luck x

Hello, we agree- this kitchen is rather dated, however there are some things you can try before completely stripping out- A client of ours had a similar kitchen in their new house; it was dark + dated, though the cupboards were in good condition. We lifted the space by changing the worktop to a much lighter granite and added metro tile splash back with grey grout. We also changed the appliances and lifted the cabinet over the new hob in order to fit a pull out extractor; and comply with modern building regulations. In your case I would suggest doing all these things- change appliances, instal a new tap/ sink, new lighter granite worktop (you could also try quartz but granite tends to be more timeless) and a lighter tiled splash back- you could use a herringbone pattern to divert interest from the cabinets. Also perhaps new handles will immediately update the look. You could also try a ceiling mounted extractor for the island. However if you do go for a new kitchen and can't sell the old- freecycle is a great way to get rid of the old cabinets in a sustainable way!

Hi Lee- the window recess is actually a bonus in this case because it gives you sufficient depth for the 2 blind mechanisms. Plus the additional recess into the ceiling will help as well because it will disguise hanging the blinds at slightly different heights, eg one rod above the other, which you will likely want to do to get both blinds as close to the window as possible. The closer the blind the less light through the sides. I would recommend you get a standard roll roller blind, eg you want the fabric to go down the back of the roll. We’ve had really good luck ordering from Tuiss in the past for our roller blinds, and they do Romans’ as well. One thing you might also want to look at is cassette blinds, which have fixed side rails and thus offer better blackout and thermal coverage. We have a “Velux Duo” on a loft window and it’s terrific. It would give you a different option to combine a pull-up bottom mounted sheer blind to hide passerby (but keep the upper part of the window uncovered for better light) along with a traditional top mounted roman/roller blind for nighttime cover.
