Something similar to a Paul smith pattern where can I find this kind of thing?

I would put the pair of glass candle lamps together on the right side chest and opt for sidelamps with more oomph - something bigger and squat. You could also add other ornaments in different heights grouped together - don't split matching items too symmetrically, balance is key but symmetry may be boring. A geometrically patterned rug or two will look nice alonside the bed and/or at the foot of it. A narrow console unit would look nice beneath the tv; you could go for vintage as your style is very simple. Don't be afraid to dare a little - playing safe is not always the safest!!! Add a comfy reading chair with lampstand and cushions and a footwarmer or plaid on the bed and some more wall art - the heart is a great start but add more. Think layers. You have a great basic palate to funk it up a lot!

Depends on the mood you want? All over can look stunning if the right wallpaper is chosen (Wallpapers Direct have fab new ones) or just wallpaper the fireplace wall to make a feature. Although in a big room it could look mean or have no real effect. Try the one wall and live with it for a while perhaps? You will not therefore be wasting any money by buying too much.

The more 'colourful' the colours are, the more they start to jump about and interact, What this means is that the more blue your walls look, the more orange your sofa will look. The bluer your walls, the more orange your floor will look etc. Warm and cool colours - it's all relative. A hot orange will look cooler when white is added. A blue will look warmer if it is dark etc. You can see from the image below that the contrast in hue between the hague blue and the sofa and floor is quite stimulating, I wouldn't think this room would be improved with a patterned wallpaper. I agree with Daisy that a colour from the paper would make it coherent.
