This rug is ideal for my bedroom but I can't seem to find it? I would appreciate your help. thks all.

Honestly, £1,000 isn't that bad for the laborious and hideous work they have to do, but get a couple of quotes. I wouldn't do the stairs - sandblasting is too strong for them anyway and I think you can still see the nice wood grain in them. Perhaps you can put a runner up them. Do the ceiling beams, the lintel over the fireplace and all the dark beams imbedded in the wall. I can't really see the church seat, the seat in the fireplace or the doors, but the door in the Somerset Cottage photo with the carpet you like looks good, doesn't it? Show me more photos of the church seat and the seat in the fireplace, but you could paint the church seat the same colour as the walls, or the same as the trim in eggshell or a slightly darker shade of the wall paint..... That would lighten it up. I still don't know what your style is! Do any of these appeal? We can find the actual products once you give an indication of what you like! Actually the curtains look fine, better than I expected but yes a totally different style to the rug and both quite distinct patterns so clashed. I'd go with a more abstract fluid rug in similar colours and a splash of something like pale lime. blue or orange so it's not too matchy matchy. One step at a time! I've been known to buy and change sofas and rugs in my living room numerous times until I'm happy (luckily I like pre-loved things so rarely lose much, if any money on them, just takes a bit of effort. Kalami in North East Corfu. Beautiful clear blue sea, bleached pebble beach dotted with driftwood overlooked by hills lined with ancient olive and pine trees. A couple of fabulous tavernas on the beach and a water taxi every evening to take you to one of the superb tavernas on the beach (literally) on Agni bay or Agios Stefanos. Grilled calamari, octopus stifado or king crab linguini eaten on a jetty overlooking the bay and the fishing boats - accompanied by a glass of excellent Corfiot wine. No large hotels, nightclubs or English pubs. Unspoilt just like the Greek islands used to be!

Hi, I love this room and Hague Blue is one of my favourites! I would suggest a flat weave rug for this space. Flat weaves tend to be easier to clean as the dirt doesn't as easily get into the fibers, and they don't pull by little paws so easily. They have worked really well in my own home with three small children (and two dogs we often dog sit)! With regards to flat weave/dhurries there are lots of options. Safavieh has some great dhurrie rugs at a reasonable price point on Wayfair, so that might be worth exploring. West Elm has some wonderful kilim style rugs that would suit your modern space quite well too, and I believe many are on sale at the moment. Another suggestion might be a natural fiber rug like a jute with a cotton border which can be ordered online by the sq ft very easily. Both the internal rug and the outer border come in a variety of shades and materials to suit your budget and taste. A final suggestion would be to look at some indoor/outdoor options which are made from a really soft plastic (many you wouldn't even know are plastic) and can literally be hosed off in the garden. Check out Dash and Albert. Otherwise, have the white vinegar ready and enjoy your puppy! Hope this was helpful!
