Our new polished concrete floor

We have just had our conc floor repolished and it looks great
But after the workman I gave it a mop !!!
OMG !!!!
It went all smeary like a dirty window
And when a drip water at sink etc u can see the spots
How to clean this floor‼️

I did wait 3/4 days after polishing b4 the disasterous mopping episode

Any tips???

I had one child who could have skinned her knees in a padded room - and her older sister could spend all day on a farm and come home immaculate ! You know your kids best - the juxtaposition of the old and new sounds lovely - if you have accident prone kids - issue slipper socks and elbow/knee pads until they are used to it !!

Hello, Why not? It is stylish at the moment and I like the fact that not many people go for this interior style as it is linked to industrial style interiors. Most welcome Melissa, The thing to concentrate on is what they can offer.. Best thing to do is look at their website.. This will give you some indication as to how specialist they are.. Also speak to them about what you're looking for this is really important!.. Prices and options are key.. I love concrete but it's not for every client.. So these 3 suggestions are based on my selection as there are many more and I cannot personally give you any recommendations for those 3 sorry but... it might help you to get an idea of their differing approaches.... I would not let this put you off making some enquiries.. I usually tell by the level of experience and talking, plus looking at how varied a company is.. I am very very picky and have been in a position myself where I've gone with lots of reviews only to find out they were awful and actually didn't know how to do the job.. ! Kindest, Amber : ) )

I would think it is acting like polished stone or granite so you could try a granite cleaner like this one. I find this is the only way to keep granite shining.

I am living with in NZ and tried all our stores for polished concrete cleaner
Only come up with one
Selleys product with neutral Ph

Washed the floor again with than and used a window wiper to dry it
Better but not so good as b4
Buying a floor polisher as it comes right if you polish it furiously with your socks .
Maybe it's because I chose the high gloss version
The sealer is impregnated into the concrete as its polished ..it took 3 days to do and cost a lot!
