What colour cushions and accessories
Comments (17)How exciting.....just finishing touches and so far its lovely btw. My personal preference would be for an accent colour used with restraint in picture frames and soft furnishings. However since going for the Kelly Hoppen look- you should layer lots of neutrals in different textures. Consider having cushions made the same width as the sofa back cushions but only 20cm high, perhaps the same fabric as the sofa but a different shade of the same colour..... or the same colour but a different fabric? Then a couple of throws in different textures....Cable knit? Suede? Perhaps a rug in a natural grass. A large plant or two You also need to consider lighting- three different sources will help the feel - wall washers, ambient, task lighting. I think Yasmin is right too and you should buy some drama and edit in some black and some bling. PS- what does the footstool look like when positioned to the side of the sofa, next to an arm (assuming you have sufficient space) as I wondered if it would make the room seem larger....See MoreWhat colour cushions
Comments (1)I suppose the answer to this may rely on what other colours will be in the room it will be situated in. Other than that I think the sofa has a simple enough aesthetic to allow for something bold and bright! Maybe try something strong and contrasting...See MoreCushion colours!
Comments (5)I would pick out a bright accent colour and incorporate it with some cushions on the bed too. Perhaps a burnt orange or a mustard yellow. Hope that helps...See MoreCushion and Accessories Advice/Inspiration
Comments (3)Hi. Blush pink would look lovely. You can add a couple of things in metallics either in gold or copper to lift it. Have you just painted your walls? If you did want more colour you cold paint them in a soft warm green which would work with the blush and grey, if not a little green in the room would work for accessories and would definitely add a plant somewhere. I'd move the small sofa over so the arms aren't overlapping and then anchor the seating with a rug, I'd go for something patterned. I'd also hang Art over the other sofa, either one large or a few smaller but pick something around 2/3 of the sofa size and hang it just a few inches above the sofa. A coffee and side tables with lamps sounds great....See Morelynneamandahayes
