Houzz UK/Ireland vs US app

Hi all I've the Houzz app on my phone and it's all UK and Ireland features,designers,contributors etc but on my iPad I seem to have the U.S. Version which i can't seem to change, ie contributors,houses are all American. I've deleted and reinstalled but no joy?anyone know how to amend?many thanks

Hello. I have the Android app and I'm able to change the country setting by clicking on my icon in the top right, going to account, then settings, and then country. hope that helps

Yes, you change it the same way in the iPad/iPhone app too.

Hi ShelleyUK, Thanks for getting in touch. We're in the process of making a localised UK app as it's in high demand for a lot of users who want localised content. That said, we appreciate that one of the great things about Houzz is its global reach and international features, and we don't by any means want to lesser that aspect of the site/app. As for filtering on the website, to view the US site you can scroll down to the footer of the homepage and select United States in the drop-down menu. That way you can access all US content. You can also view all our 3.5 million global photos on the UK site, too. Photos, discussions and professionals can be filtered by country. Just use the location drop-down menu for each of these sections, located on the left hand side. I hope this helps!

Hi Binty, You can actually change the settings of your phone, so you'll see the US content. Tap on the profile icon in the top left corner (if you're using an iPhone, right if you're using a tablet) and then tap 'Account'. Scroll down and tap 'Settings' and then tap 'Country'. Tap United States and you should immediately start seeing US content. Hope this helps!

Hi Eirlys, Thanks for your note! You can change your email by using Houzz desktop version. Log in to houzz.co.uk, then click Your Houzz (top right corner), then click Edit Profile (a button on your cover photo). You can update your contact information from there. When you tap the save button on a photo, do you get an error message? Or do you get a pop-up window view with a message to save the photo to an ideabook? It would be great if you could clarify where in the user journey you're unable to continue. Thanks!

Hi Charlesh555, Here's a guide on how to change the country in settings: 1. Click on the menu button 2. Click on Your Houzz 3. go to account tab 4. Click on settings 5. Click on country 6. Select United Kingdom 7. The app should ask to restart, click "ok" 8. After the app loads again it'll be set to UK. *You can see in the settings screen that it's set to "United Kingdom" after the restart completes. Please let me know if it still resets to US. We are working on a new version of the app for Kindle, so it should be available shortly! I'l keep you posted. Thanks!

There's also a little box low down that has all the country sites if you click on it.
