What colour window frames?
Comments (3)I like grey frames also,I have a tan bricked house and thought of doing the same thing. I took a photo of my house, and in photo shop,I got my designer to superimpose the cad drawings of the new style windows over my old windows,to give me an idea of what style and colour would work,i am glad I did because the grey looked awful. It's a lot of money to spend so it might be worth looking into this. I'm really not sure that grey windows would work well for you,I hope that other Houzzers will chip in with ideas....See MoreAny non-bespoke kitchens like these? Painted, in-frame, shaker.
Comments (57)Try http://www.handmadekitchens-direct.co.uk - our kitchen was installed when we bought the house but I know from some paperwork left by the previous owners that this is where it came from. From what I can gather the previous owner painted the kitchen herself too to save some money. It's a very good quality kitchen that has stood the test of time and 3 children! I'll have a quick tidy and post some pics if you think it would help. Good luck....See MoreWhat colour frames?!
Comments (4)Hi, anthracite grey with cream rendering is a very nice contrast and the tones compliment each other well. (Sorry, the pic is sliding doors not bifolds) Grey doors with white windows is not a faux pas so don't be put off... Finally, two-tone doors are an option if you want to match the lantern, having grey or black outside and white inside, however I always think this looks a little odd when the doors are open as you see the alternate colours together, and the inside of the frames on the hinges too. Horses for courses though. There are options for every taste out there....See MoreWhat would you frame here? Ideas wanted!
Comments (19)It could be anything. But what can work really well is to frame something that means something to you. For instance, we have framed a pocket watch I bought my wife. It never worked, but it was beautiful. So we set it to the time our son was born and put it in a frame. Silly gifts, especially if they are a little left of field can look great in a frame, as long as they mean something to you. Their beauty is deeper then. My wife always wanted a bubble car, so I bought her a tiny model of one, that's in a frame too. The nice thing about how. you have done your frame is that you can keep changing it. The plants against the black look good, ferns can look especially good in this sort of setting (and make the aire nicer too)....See Morejesjes
