What color paint should I use in the kitchen?

I would need to know a little more about the room to advise.
Could you post a few pictures, that would help.
The site and slate grey sound a good combination, what floor material do you have ?
You have to be very careful with colour, it goes out of fashion so quickly.
Had you considered keeping the room white and changing the colour using light ?... I did this recently for a client, a pure white kitchen and I put strips of colour change lights under the plinth, worktop edge, under the wall units and above the wall units. The effect was amazing, pure white modern on one setting, when you want to the soft white colour tones the kitchen transformed into a much softer warmer room. We even tried it on blue light and on red light and the effects were very dramatic.
The main thing was the client could change the colour scheme at the touch of a button.

Comments (11)Your flooring and worktops are neutral, so pretty much anything will go. I think a sage green grey would look great like Farrow & Ball French Gray or more of the green with Lichen. If you want something more neutral, Farrow and Ball Hardwick White, stony Ground, Elephants Breath all great Colours or Little Greene Rolling Fog (which comes in different shades from pale to dark if you wanted to have different shades within the room). You could even go dark grey, blue, pretty much anything. Comments (19)It sounds like you have plenty of natural light coming in so should be fine with most things. I think the blue all over would be a little too much with north light - making it feel a little cool. I would go with the suggested half and half which will also lift the height a making it feel more open. With the blue itself I would try to go for something with as warm an undertone as possible.. same with any whites you choose. If they have blue or grey undertones they will feel a look more drab with the specific light that's hitting them. Comments (5)Personally I think an LVT is a more practical product but if I were qa supplier I would probably want to promote porcelain tiles because it is less likely to limit wood options with the kitchen and the potential profit from a porcelain tile is potentially higher than a LVT....See More- PRO

The clean white form of the kitchen looks lovely, its a nice room.
You definitely need lights above the wall units, this will bounce off the ceiling and into the room.
At the risk of being too direct, throw the green paint away, you don't need it..
If you want colour in this room use the glass display cabinet and put some beautiful coloured glass in there. I sometimes put Japanese inspired flower arrangements on the middle of islands to add a modern structure and punch some colour in. The advantage to both of these methods is that you can change the colour scheme when ever you like.
One idea that would transform the room:
Put an American shutter up on the window. White with wide 80mm slats. Make sure the slat control is concealed, don't let them sell you a shutter with that awful rod down the middle. This will look amazing in this room.
If you really fancy being adventurous mirror the window wall around the shutters above the splash back. You will need to make templates and have the mirror cut to those to ensure a perfect fit. Visually the room will double in size as your eye is tricked into seeing the furniture repeated as a reflection. I know it sounds a little "out there" but I have done this on many occasions and it works amazingly well.

I would go for three pieces.
Left hand, right hand and one over the top, joint on the vertical edge.
Make a hardboard template and send the templates to the glass cutter.
A quick sketch:
Thats how I would do it.
