Comments (11)Hello Claudia, Speaking from an art on walls point of view, I'm loving the challenge, so I present a few choice pieces for the wall above your two armchairs that I think will be a happy compliment to your existing decor and furnishings: As regards the picture above your piano, the colours work well with your room but you don't like the subject, right? If that's the case, this consideration will have to be a decision based on what subject(s) you really like or are quite sentimental to, as opposed to colour matching an art piece just to fit in with the rest of the room. If you do play the piano, musicians are very sentimental people, so you want something above the piano that you can "feel and connect to" when you're sitting there playing. It has to be sentimental to you, irrespective of what it is and what colour it may be, and not to consider it as part of the rooms overall decor. If there is anything I can be of further help with, feel free to contact me through my Houzz profile or website: http://thejonescollection.gallery All the best with whatever you decide to choose for your wall spaces....See MoreBig art in small room? opion
Comments (1)Art such as canvases often need space around them to create impact, if you're struggling for space to give around the image, why not make the whole wall into an image? this offers maximum impact by using the wall as a whole, without worrying about the space surrounding it :) -Dan www.pictowall.co.uk...See MoreHELP: New wall art for our lounge
Comments (7)Hi rahall1979, art is always a very personal choice, but you might like to take a look at www.signarture.com There are pieces in our outside in and treescape collections that could be easily reworked to include mustard yellow accents - our bespoke approach allows us to create an artwork that is exclusive to you at an affordable price, You could stick with the triptych format - 3 x 60 x 60cm- or go for a single long piece 60 x 180cm. http://www.signarture.com.au/collections/outside-in-canvas-prints/products/contemporary-canvas-art-bellingen-blue-triptychhttp://www.signarture.com.au/collections/treescape-canvas-prints/triptych-up-to-3-0m If you like the idea of creating a custom colour piece, this is the page to read: http://www.signarture.com.au/pages/your-perfect-artwork-made-to-order...See MoreArt work advice
