Over Mantle Mirror Advice Help
Comments (16)The thing that strikes me when I look at your room and the kitchen, is that it's quite a collection of different styles. I think the key thing you could do to calm it down is to pull the colours together. I mocked something up to show you what I mean. I didn't go for a mirror that reflects all the different things, but for a painting with the red of the chair, the green of the plant and curtains, the blue of the tiles. I also painted the dining chairs blue. And changed the light in the kitchen to pewter pendants. I also gave you bar stools that are less country in style. Hope it helps....See MoreWhat size / type mirror for this vanity
Comments (11)Love the new vanity unit - looks very like a Burlington one we're about to bring into our showroom! Regarding mirrors - in theory, you could get away with two 500w x 700 tall mirrors, but I think that would be pushing it. I'd go narrower, but if you can keep 700 high (ir higher), I think it would give you a really good, architectural feel. Alternatively, you could opt for a couple of oval mirrors like these: Which would echo the curved of your basins. These ones shown come from Miller Bathrooms of Sweden and are of excellent quality. They also do some nice square & smaller rectangular ones which would work size-wise. Their website is here - feel free to get in touch if you wish us to quote. As to copper - I too love it, especially in a bathroom, but I don't currently have anything to offer with copper on the mirror itself. I'd suggest considering keeping the mirrors plainer, but bringing copper into the lighting & accessories - more like your 2nd image. Comments (5)You need to install an electrical demister pad behind your mirror. Easy and works!
