VERY Interesting Doors! Who is the manufacturer?

This Door application is very interesting. Can you tell me who makes them and the width of the opening?

Hi, GJames makes them in the commercial series. The opening is approx. 1500mm wide.

Those doors and sash windows are lovely, we're not sure who made them but we could make something very similar. All our timber projects are bespoke and we can paint them in a factory finish to match any colour you like. We do traditional lead weighted sash windows too so if you like the windows next to the doors these could also be made. All our doors and windows are double glazed, we used toughened glass and the doors all have multi point locking systems for high security. Hi there, this can be a common problem with laminate doors! Replacement doors shouldn't be too difficult to obtain these days, as many companies offer this as a service. Whether your doors are standard sizes or made to measure, there is an excellent door manufacturer that makes doors just like yours (I think they are from the range Cambridge) by BA Components www.byba.co.uk There is a 'find a dealer' section, where you can find a tradesman in your area and obtain a quote. Generally quotes are no obligation! IF, there is any sort of issue colour matching- consider going slightly darker on the bottom like Dakar, Mussel or Cashmere. You can see an example of doors from the above company that we fitted on a de-laminated kitchen. The clients cupboards were all different sizes, however because the doors are made to measure- this wasn't an issue. Best of luck!

I agree with Meggie. It's definitely a stylistic improvement and I like the silver like colour of the garage door. Can the front door be painted in a more contrasting colour, rather than trying (and failing) to match?

Thanks for your advice both of you. We live in England to answer your question Gabby. Is there a rule in Scotland that the aisles have to be 120cm and if so why ? Jonathan, I was kind of thinking we would want to use the island for eating meals on like we do now with our current kitchen table, but I guess if the DR is open to the kitchen then it wouldn't be a problem to take a few steps more to the dining room table (because we use it so infrequently at the moment I am finding that hard to visualise). I am going to post a better plan of our current kitchen and dining room (with the pantry taken out) and I am also going to post a photo looking out from the window in our dining room. I am wondering if we did turn the DR into our kitchen could we make the window ledge higher and put the units in an L-shape so we could put the sink in the window? (and still have space for an island) I know this goes against some of my earlier points, especially about being worried people would be able to look in at us/and would create a more goldfish bowl feeling but I am just playing around with ideas.
