Comments (72)Each element is fab, love the steel kitchen units, the open brickwork walls and the stars. However collectively the eye dances around all over the place. The steel against the open brickwork is great. The flooring bothers me as it is shouting for attention against strong core elements. Comments (16)Hello Tom, I saw RED! ;) ) It's because there's a heavy emphasis on warm colours... Najeebah is spot on! The eye takes in the whole but then focuses on the most dominant colour.... Comments (43)I am lucky enough to live in a flatshare that has a fireplace, even if it doesn't work! I just love the way it brings the room together and encourages snuggling up on the sofas with a nice cup of hot tea and a good book to read! There is something very homely about a fireplace and although our one is bare of any mantlepiece decorations, one of my favorite artworks claimed its spot above it almost as soon as I stepped foot in the house! The color of the marble and the undertones in the paintings couldn't have worked any better if I wanted them to and I feel like the dimensions are pretty well balanced! Comments (29)As no-one stays anymore, I swapped my lounge with my spare room (flat). I now have a lovely square lounge just for TV and chats etc. My spare bed is in my new 'craft room' just in case but it is covered with paper, clay, frames, paint and records. I paint and listen to old rock and metal that I can shout along to!!!...See Moreminnie101
