Curtains & Living room colors
Comments (4)I'd add some brightly coloured cushions, similar to your Ideabook by tamar schechner but maybe not so many. I'd keep your existing black ones. Because of the rug and sofa it feels a little oriental to me. I'd add a much bigger coffee table which is slightly lower. This one is from 4living and maybe some ceramic garden stools at the side of each sofa or opposite the big sofa. This stool is by Oj commerce, I have picked this one as I haven't seen this design before so could just be plain and less bright! I'd move the chair to the corner of the window and try positioning the black coffee table in front. Longer term I'd get something bigger for the bookcase wall. I think you also need some art on the wall picking up a little of the cushion colours...See MoreLiving room, where to put rug/s?
Comments (3)Room plan and photo's definitely. If the fireplace is in the middle, then that's the focal point, so maybe the sofa could go opposite ( or is the door in the way? )...See MoreCurtain fabric advice for living room
Comments (12)If you love the fabric, then that is your answer. Personally I think the window style is traditional and so I would go for a double or triple pencil pleat rather than eyelet. I presume you are having your curtains made bespoke in this fabric. Pencil pleats probably use a bit more fabric so would be more expensive, but bespoke curtains are already expensive and I think the finish with pencil pleats is superior. I always think full-length curtains look much better, but you do have radiators under your windows and full-length curtains would significantly block the heat during winter. Also when the curtains are open they may present as black-ish stripes on either side of the windows....See MoreLiving Room,Dining Room,Bedroom rug show
