Yes paint your front door. I did mine with Rustoleum paint and primer on one, from Homebase.... £19 a tin which did 3 Coates. 2 outside 1 inside. So easy. Saved me buying a new door. Before and after photos!!

I’m sorry you've had to experience such bad service from them but it doesn’t surprise me. There is a FB site for them and it is absolutely littered with complaints, cancellations, ombudsman information and court. Some of the images are heart breaking especially when people have scrimped and saved for their dream kitchen which has turned into a nightmare. There is no such thing as finance free options which is one of their main selling points. It’s all added into the price. You can’t beat an independent for choice, service and value. They are no more expensive and in most cases cheaper.

UPDATE….. for those that kindly gave me their experiences I thought you might want an update now I have been living in my new house for 3 weeks. The first few days I had massive regret and my first night was pretty miserable thinking what have I done. I think it was mostly down to the disgusting state the house was left in. The carpets smelt so bad the rug doctor made it worse so we ripped up all of the downstairs carpet on day 3, luckily the upstairs was useable once cleaned. We sugar soaped the walls (cif and bleach did not touch the grease and grime). And now it’s clean it feels more like mine. I think it’ll feel even better once we can decorate to our taste and get carpet but having to sort out some damp first. I’ll definitely be asking for decorating advice once that’s sorted but wanted to say despite huge reservations I can now say I love my house (despite its MANY faults, some expected others newly discovered).
