Comments (64)I'm glad they're comfy! It's a shame the tolix is cold, I've got them in my basement which is cold anyway hence why I probably don't notice! You may find cheaper but I know Nordic House do fur seat pads. No I wouldn't reconsider a corner sofa. I was just trying to look for cheaper options for you which a normal sofa would have been. I've had a proper look for corner sofas now but all the emerald ones I've found are in velvet :( I would definitely get the sofa stainguarded in case of any mishaps with your daughter! I tried looking to see if sofa.com had a Black Friday deal on last year with potentially a bigger discount but they don't appear to have done...See More90s House Reno
Comments (0)Help! I’m buying this house and trying to decide how to update the exterior. The windows are rosewood upvc and the house is surrounded by lots of houses of a similar design/ era. Would like to extend the drive so there is parking for at least two cars. The garage door needs painting and don’t know whether to get the windows and beams resprayed. Would like to move the door to the front of the porch and add a vertical window in the side, as the hallway is very gloomy and cramped so this will add more space and light internally. What do you think? Which colours should I choose? Something in-keeping with the neighbours or more modern/ more traditional? Any ideas gratefully received!!...See MoreVictorian renovation - what are the key power tools to buy?
Comments (1)Highly recommend an impact driver (with variable speed control), that's my most used tool followed by cordless drill (get a good quality 18V pair with interchangeable batteries). Otherwise probably best to draw up a list of all the jobs and see what's needed. My sliding compound mitre saw gets a fair bit of use, useful if you are planning to do skirting, architraves, etc. An oscillating multitool can come in extremely handy. Depending on the jobs in mind, maybe a circular saw, or better a track saw with guide rail. If fitting doors then an electric plane might be useful. And don't forget PPE....See MoreNew House Renovation - What Would You Do?
