Carpet colour? Grey or beige?
Comments (1)Grey is a neutral and a can go with anything,be daring and go with gray..not too dark and get samples to lay down in your room and check for tone value in all light...See MorePale Grey Sofa looks more Beige than Grey!
Comments (13)Have you already chosen or bought curtains? If so I would perhaps wait until you have these up, and maybe some artwork and a rug before revisiting the cushions. I think because the sofa has a cushioned top and back it doesn't lend itself so easily to having lots of cushions, maybe a rectangle cushion on the chair and a toning throw with a few different shades in it over one end of the sofa will be enough. Also, whilst a lot a people might recommend firm, overstuffed cushions in most cases, maybe the cushions will sit better if they are slightly less full and more squishy? Just a thought, you'd have to experiment with that....See MoreColour to go with silver grey and beige plaid

Comments (11)I've chosen RAL 7039 for my windows which is a similar colour to RAL 7006 but darker. I am pleased that RAL 7039 is not a colour which is seen very often. I chose it because I too want a warm neutral and an alternative to anthracite grey which is too blue/purple for my taste. RAL 7039 seems to work well with the house's brickwork, mortar colour, concrete roof tiles and the proposed timber cladding on our new extension. Before I made a decision I tested several colours by purchasing Dulux Trade Ral Colour paint samples (250ml pots) which I painted onto lining paper and stuck up on the outside of the house. I loved RAL 7039 as soon as I painted it onto the lining paper, unlike the other sample colours which were ok but nothing special, so I was really pleased that the colour works with the house. I also think Ral 7039 will blend in with the neighbouring houses which have dark windows - mainly 80s mahogany/rosewood windows - but will look more contemporary. Fingers crossed it doesn't let me down. If you like RAL 7006 go for it....See MoreNatalie Vinton
