Bathroom dilemma
Comments (7)Why is the layout "a pain?" I think that this is a good layout. If this is your only bathroom I would suggest when you remodel hanging a door to seperate bath/loo area from the sink area. That way somebody can have a bath or be using the toilet in privacy whilst the other person is having a wash, cleaning teeth etc. It may be a small space but the potential is huge - you could really transform and define each area with clever lighting....See More2 bathroom dilemma
Comments (22)Yeah, sure, that would work and you would have 2 fabulous bathrooms. You need to weigh up the additional cost of extending further over the garage vs. how much value is added to your property. I say this because adding extra rooms does of course add significant value to your property but bathrooms don't add quite as much as other rooms in the house and to extend over the garage may be significant cost because it's not just adjusting internal walls, adding windows etc. but adding a whole new structure and that may involve underpining the garage etc depending on what foundations are already there. Personally I don't think it's so bad to have a bathroom without a window these days as many houses have to go down that route. With the great effects you can have with lighting and internal air circulation as long as an internal bathroom has the WOW factor it really won't be a problem. BUT saying that, 2 big fab bathrooms would definitely have the WOW factor. Good luck with whatever you decide....See MoreHelp required for layout with small bathroom
Comments (6)Hi. You may not be able to move the soil pipe to move the loo. Is the missing corner the boxing in of the pipes? This is the duo tub by omnitub which measures 1050 x 1050 which is obviously set in the same width bathroom as yours. It may be worth exploring to see if it's an option. If not large tiles so the space doesn't look busy with grout lines and a huge mirror will help. A vanity unit on legs will also help to give a feeling of space if you manage to find one in that size. Good luck!...See MoreBathroom dilemma
Comments (5)Hi Nicola, Great idea to keep a bath in your property for your future and resell value. This type of layout would typically require more space but not impossible. You’d need to move the door to the right to achieve this with bath to the left as u walk in. Is there scope to increase the size of the room into the hallway? If u would like detailed 3d designs of your bathrooms we have our own 3d & VR software. We can provide a complementary online design consultation or from our showrooms in Richmond and Brentford. Once we have created your designs you can view them at your convenience from our BathroomsByDesign VR app (IOS and Android) We deliver anywhere in the UK. Good luck, here to help.
