Comments (17)Sliding doors are proving very popular at the moment as they can stack to one side and not protrude into the garden space and be easier to move than full set of bi-folds so that would an approximate opening of about 4m with 3 x 1.250m (plus frame ) panel of glass that would all stack in parallel inline. Or you could try panoramic doors they are more versatile as they are detachable from each other and give you more options for you layout at the finish. There a tutorial on you tube ? Do you have building control on these works as I am finding that architects are making us use a lot more steel as in a goal post design for stability, depending on how wide you want to go with the opening?...See Moreanthracite grey windows on old house - ADVICE PLEASE
Comments (12)Hi Maja Anthracite grey is a wonderful colour, and probably the most popular on all our products at the moment! They look amazing on houses, although sometimes the brick colour or rendering can mean they may be too dark or perhaps need less contrast, so they may not be right for everybody. A recent customer's house had a visible dark roof, so anthracite grey was a bit too much, and they chose a pale grey instead... I think your brick colour is lovely and pale so will contrast very nicely and will look amazing with anthracite grey - especially in the sunshine! Finished with a timber effect foil, you will hardly notice the difference between uPVC and original timber - except you will be getting all the benefits of a modern maintenance free window. You may want to look at a Solidor Composite Front Door to further enhance the look, security and low maintence qualities to the doors and windows of your home....See MoreAnthracite grey windows
