Need help with a choice for my basement floor

Is this finish very expensive? Roughly how much does it run per square foot? Also does it take very long to have it done?

$5-$8 sqft with $2500 min job, takes 4-5 days to install. No better choice for a basement floor. Sanitary, no seams or grout lines, and it's a radon block. The elegance and beauty can't be fully captured on film. Much more dynamic in person.

As stated above, the cost is not as important as the durability and clean air vs carpet... you can use accent rugs, too. Our 2400 Sq ft. main floor cost was between 15-22K.

I would paint all the walls a soft buttery yellow - Restoration Hardware's Butter would be perfect. New window covering in the alcove could be a roman-style roll-up blind (you can find good inexpensive ones at K-Mart) that would pick up the tones from the wood floors and shutters. Art with red, gray and yellow matting hung in a grouping over the fireplace would add a classy touch. Your current furniture needs to be re-arranged in an attractive, more intimate way. Turn red rug the long way in front of fireplace and place couches across from each other on either side of the rug. Store some of the red striped cushions. Attractive but too many. Hi. I would keep the lounge as it is, move the kitchen under the upstairs kitchen (so into bedroom2) and open that space up a little if you can. I would then enlarge the existing bathroom slightly as you won't need all that hall space with the utility becoming your new hall. The main bedroom would then be where the kitchen is and a little of the master suite. The second bedroom I would do as a study come bedroom come entrance where the current master bedroom is and entrance to the property. This would be open most of the time but contain a 'study bed' which can be pulled down as a desk or as a bed for guests. Picture attached. This should then make a stylish fairly open space for your DIL to rent or use in the future and very comfortable for you now :) I hope that all makes sense.

I agree with the previous comment. The paper is lovely you just don’t have enough other colour or distraction in the room - so the paper is all you see. You have not co-ordinated the room enough so again the paper sits as odds with the bed and blind. Pink and green do go together but you haven’t reflected any green in the blinds. Bed Linen or in a throw. It would also be worth having a mirror on the papered was to bring some light into the room and bounce the co-ordinating colours into the wall - I swear by mirrors! You may also consider covering your headboard with a toning or contrasting colour. Headboards are not that difficult to cover and you could pick up a remnant or odd curtain which tones from many places - all you need is a staple gun :) You may have a number of doors in the room , which the picture doesn’t show, however a chair or an occasional piece of furniture or a plant stand with either a real fern or artificial fern may help.
