Help needed to find light safe fabric for corner sofa

We have a large l shaped sofa in our very bright south facing kitchen living area. The sofa has faded really badly and now needs replacing. I originally used a linara fabric. Does anyone have any suggestions of fabrics that will not fade at all or fade minimally? Thanks

Hi. Sounds a bit boring but we went for a an off-white colour for our corner sofa and it has stood the test of time (albeit with some light stains - wine, kids etc!). I'm not knowledgeable enough to say what fabric it is though.

I love all the art you have chosen for this room....and the bit of yellow in them totally work. I was nervous about the size of a few, so grouping is a good idea. I think the largest one can work alone and the other two can maybe stack?

Hi, thanks for answering... I have kind of dreamed to a style of living room I d like to have and without the rug it would not have the same effect... thats why. I'm still about to buy the coffee table. Honestly there will be like a blank space on the right side of the sofa, thats why I thought about the lamp table instead of the coffee table as I believe it would even more space of the small area I have between the sofa and the Tv stand...

Very pretty fabric. The background grey of the curtains would make a lovely wall colour. I don’t think you need anything bolder as the fabrics are quite bold. A pale grey carpet would be a nice neutral. I think you could go quite bold, if you dare, with the sofa though - bright green or teal, or pink. I think the Parker Knolls would look great in a bold velvet, but if that’s too much then a muted grey will still look great and you can liven them up with colourful cushions. Here’s some ideas, but I couldn’t find many images of curtains like yours with a sofa!

Hi, I've had leather sofas... wouldn't get them again. They look great and are easy to clean, but if you are someone who gets cold easily and don't like the feel of cold surfaces in the winter you will cringe every time you sit on them in the winter. (I'm guessing you have wood burner because your house gets cold) and if you are someone who is generally hot all the time then in the summer when your're wearing shorts and t-shirt you will stick to them and they will make you very sweaty leaving wet patches as you get up. The worst is when guests leave wet patches where their bums have been! Once the sofa has been worn in a bit and the seat area gets a tiny bit saggy as they all do, you will find yourself sliding into the sag. You will find yourself pulling yourself out each time you get up, especially in the bigger sofas. An occasional chair as in Sonia's picture I think is fine or if they are in a secondary room. Not to mention repair costs if you manage to damage the leather. Regarding cleaning sofas then we bought a upholstery and carpet cleaning machine. (The house had very light cream coloured carpet throughout when we moved in) It works great. We never had a problem with fading or any extra wear and tear.
