Cabinet color

I just looked up Stiffkey blue by farrow & ball and I don't think it's the correct color. Is there anyway you would be willing to double check? Thank you so much?

Hi there, I've double checked and they are Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue - I think it may simply be that the room is very light and photos and computer screens will never give you an accurate colour match. If you like the colour in the photo it might be easier to look at paint charts next to it and go from there. I can see that it doesn't look like Stiffkey in the photo! Good luck :)

I agree crisp white and a change of handles would look great. Also a industrial grey would look amazing, especically with the exposed hardware. Obviously this all depends on the rest of your kitchen but you could be more extreme and apply something cheap like chipboard to the back and apply some fun wallpaper to make more of a feature of all the items that you will have on display.

Greys tend to be purplish, greenish or blueish. The more yellow in a green grey the more it will clash with a blue grey (I know, I have it). The green room next door has a wooden floor, that makes a big difference. I would get the colour that matches the floor as you see them together. I'm not sure those green colours work with the floor, but it's difficult to see correctly on a monitor. Something like Elephants Breath may be worth trying and may work will with the room next door, green and violet greys seem to like each other.

Hi! Firstly - What a beautiful kitchen design you've gone for. I actually think that the either white or off white would work for the colour of your cabinets but to create a warm, cosy scheme I would opt for the off white to try and pull those darker tones out from the work top. Wall colour is a bit tougher to pick as this depends really on a number of different factors. Kitchens are bathrooms are two rooms in your home that are a real investment so I would collect some paint samples and put them up against the kitchen cabinet and worktop surfaces before you commit. Having said that I do think that bright white would be a little harsh if going for warmer tones. Farrow and Ball have such a broad mix of neutrals that Im sure you'll find a great match! P.s brushed nickel would look amazing with this! Style the kitchen with natural wooden finishes in any styling items such as fruit bowls, stools, chopping boards would add level texture and interest as well! Good luck! Dani
