Cabinet colour with Silestone Lusso?

I'm having Silestone Lusso countertops - and all being well paired with the Kitchen Stori Aldana shaker kitchen and either chrome or brushed nickel pulls and natural oak flooring.

I'm just having a dither about going for porcelain cabinets (as in this image) or white? Is there a right answer? Will porcelain look odd with white walls (I guess I could paint in an offwhite?) will I regret getting offwhite and not white?

or is it a softer option to match the creamy tones in the lusso?

Hi! Firstly - What a beautiful kitchen design you've gone for. I actually think that the either white or off white would work for the colour of your cabinets but to create a warm, cosy scheme I would opt for the off white to try and pull those darker tones out from the work top.

Wall colour is a bit tougher to pick as this depends really on a number of different factors.

Kitchens are bathrooms are two rooms in your home that are a real investment so I would collect some paint samples and put them up against the kitchen cabinet and worktop surfaces before you commit. Having said that I do think that bright white would be a little harsh if going for warmer tones. Farrow and Ball have such a broad mix of neutrals that Im sure you'll find a great match!

P.s brushed nickel would look amazing with this! Style the kitchen with natural wooden finishes in any styling items such as fruit bowls, stools, chopping boards would add level texture and interest as well!

Hi All, I am hoping someone can help me!!!!!!! I recently painted my kitchen units in F&b Cornforth White. I am looking for a colour to compliment on the walls. I don't have a main wall as such i'm painting as going to feature brick effect paper...I have 2 large double sliding doors that open into the sitting room. I have testers of Worsted, but thinking it could be very dark. (the splashback will be coming down) i'm undecided on to go dark or light - plus painter coming tomorrow!!!! ok so I'm still al little confused but almost decided (mainly cos i can't take this strange indecision anymore!) So 3 tall integrated of/larger fridge & pull out larder units on back wall (in photo) and l shape base units only in Slipper Satin. Worktop in snowy ibiza as it has a taupe tinge to it so works well with Slipper Satin but lighten the room too and wimborne white (or possibly Valspar Fluffy Robe) for the walls and open shelves. I still want my champagne bronze tap and am hoping it will go but it's the only thing I'm not certain on now and the only thing i'm dead set on having! Off to look at Kahrs flooring samples today.

Why not try a natural stone effect porcelain flagstone tile? Reduced cost and less maintenance than natural stone but you still get the Opus pattern you like.

Hi Rowen, I can't quite identify the knobs/handles in Claire's images (and there are quite a few others in this thread!), but we may be able to help source what you are looking for. We have a variety of hadle suppliers, but one of our favourite for "cup & knob" in a variety of lovely finishes is Crofts & Assinder - crofts.co.uk - a really great, British company with some lovely designs and finishes. Have a browse of the website and see if any are close to what you seek. If you give me an idea of which is the style you particularly like, happy to try and help.
