Help please! Ammonite kitchen cabinets/lagoon silestone kitchentop

I'm in the process of renovating our kitchen and have been going in circles trying to figure out a colour scheme. We have a very small galley style kitchen (about 3 x 2 metres) and plan to put in a lot of base and wall cabinets on each side to try to maximise storage.

I'd like to use F&Bs ammonite in the colour scheme. We've already settled on using the lagoon silestone for our kitchen top and will have small upstands with the silestone. (Otherwise, no splashbacks are planned for now). If I were to use ammonite for the kitchen cabinets, does anyone have any suggestions on what colour to use for the kitchen walls and for the kitchen flooring? I'm thinking about using F&Bs all white for the kitchen ceiling.

Every combination I'm coming up with, I'm afraid might be too grey. But I'm not sure about using engineered wood flooring either (which would bring in a darker colour) because the panels normally run lengthwise and would make our already small kitchen look even smaller.

Have you thought about using Ammonite on the units and then something a little darker on the units.
It's hard without seeing the space. Do you have any images or plans you can upload. What style are you trying to achieve?
I do a lot of 3D images which allow you to see your space and help clients make these decisions.

Hi Evie. I would actually keep the wall colour as close to the units as possible or even the same to make the space feel bigger. I'd look at strong white for the walls or perhaps purbeck for the units and ammonite on the walls. I'd get some testers anyway as the colours obviously look different in different lights. I also think the colours tend to come out lighter on the doors so ideally would test a sample. For the floor, you could run planks horizontally but if you don't like that look then opt for wide planks as per the 2nd pic. Encaustic tiles also look good in a narrow space. The last pic is a concrete tile from rockett st George but you could consider adding colour for tiles rather than accessories as there are lots of similar tiles around ATM

Hi All, I am hoping someone can help me!!!!!!! I recently painted my kitchen units in F&b Cornforth White. I am looking for a colour to compliment on the walls. I don't have a main wall as such i'm painting as going to feature brick effect paper...I have 2 large double sliding doors that open into the sitting room. I have testers of Worsted, but thinking it could be very dark. (the splashback will be coming down) i'm undecided on to go dark or light - plus painter coming tomorrow!!!! Kitchen units F&b Cornforth White doors into sitting room the left is Worsted and right is winter truffle (dulux I think)!

The lighting isnt really accurate at all because i need to take a photo in our new house but it gives me an idea. I realise grey is on trend but I also think as a neutral it should stand the test of time.I would be more concerned about the blue looking dated. The way I see it though I might as well put in a kitchen I like now and perhaps go off it, than putting in something that's "OK" just cos its not a current fad. There's nothing else jumping out at me at the minute.

Why not try a natural stone effect porcelain flagstone tile? Reduced cost and less maintenance than natural stone but you still get the Opus pattern you like.
