Doors - To blind or not to blind?

All the windows in my contemporary new build will have integrated blinds. The order is placed and cannot be changed.

In addition I have 2 lots of sliding doors: to fit an opening in the sitting room of 3000mm wide x 2250mm high, and the other in the open plan kitchen/dining room of 5000mm wide x 2100 high. Unfortunately these doors cannot incorporate integrated blinds.

Curtains are not an option. My concern with blinds is flapping in the wind when the doors are open. Would shutters suit a contemporary interior or a complete no no?

I am thinking that I may have to change the door design but would prefer not to.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you
