Bifold doors blinds or no blinds
Comments (6)Hi Tracy, if you're after the best of both you can get shutters on a gliding track (see below) which look really nice but note that this can be quite an expensive option. Alternatively you could vertical blinds or even rollers which can be kept out of the way when you want the window exposed or even hung outside the recess if required. Some food for thought below: Gliding track shutters: https://cheapestblindsuk.com/shutters/ Vertical Blinds https://cheapestblindsuk.com/cheap-vertical-blinds-2/ Roller Blinds https://cheapestblindsuk.com/cheap-roller-blinds/ Hope this helps, Alec 0800 112 3335...See MoreBlinds over blinds?
Comments (3)Hiya, Definitely go for the layered look - it's an effect lots of our customers favour and you get the best of both worlds. A Roman blind will create a really cosy feel like you say, and as Bagpuss mentions, picking up on the purple would be a really lovely look. You could also go for a pop of the lime green you've used as an accent colour, for an alternative modern look? Good luck with your search - it's a lovely light room, and I'm sure it will look stunning! Zoe...See MoreShutter blinds or Roman blinds?
Comments (12)Hi lu9349 This is a really pretty window feature and I think that the addition of a window seat is an excellent idea here. Take a look at how we have styled this window seat area below using translucent dim out fabric. If you're going for a Hampton's/French provincial look I suggest the following swatches. Soft White above. Below Meadow Spring [ties in with your stained glass tint], Spring White Twig. Bloc Blinds range fit perfectly to the windows they are designed for. This allows easy installation of the blinds in minutes with no specialised equipment. We have a range of plain and pattern blackout and dim out fabrics to suit any window and you will find that additional curtains and shutters will be unnecessary. The blind can be fitted on the edge of the window recess or inside the recess providing a clean and stylish aesthetic in your bedroom. For further advice or support on how to install don’t hesitate to contact our team at info@blocblinds.com and we’ll be happy to help. Good Luck! Síle...See MoreRoman blinds on 4 pane bifold doors?
Comments (3)Hi Sonia, the blinds (I'm hoping!) will fold up outside the revealing not foul as all the doors and mechanisms fold up outside the house, nothing comes inside the window frame if that makes sense. Just struggling to see a working example though...See MoreUser
