Hi,

I am interested in three of these wall lights for a project I am in.

I recommend, because of the Spanish/ Mexican themes I can spot within the fireplace I would add colourful tiles around the fireplace to make it the centre of attention and to make it more interesting. However, considering that this is a living a would recommend terracotta or a warm subtle vermillion colour, or if you prefer bright colours I would either go with turquoise, pink, red, green or dark blue. I would not recommend yellow as yellow is a bit garish and would not compliment the fireplace whatsoever. The same with gold really. Personally I would choose red for the walls :) Hope this helps :) Dark wooden furniture might also go with the colours :) A mirror above the fireplace would also add a lovely touch by extending the lights so it wouldn't be too dark :)

Hello maxchew, It's rather a shame that the aircon/heater unit is there as ideally the picture and picture light could be situated higher up the wall. Not to worry... With the shell wall sconces.. Why not add two pillar candles in cream.... Something taller and more traditional looking or have LED ones for safety... Perhaps consider a tall one and a shorter one.. On the other side consider a low bowl... with nothing in it.. The table to the right with the plant... Move this further away to another location so the console becomes a focus in it's own right... Leave the horses underneath the console they too look nice there.. : ))

Hi Patricia, You could go for a soft pastel colour palette inspired by Miami Beach to achieve the Art Deco style you’re after. Mix pastels with metallics and bold geometric prints for a 1930’s inspired scheme. I love this Osborne & Little wallpaper below from John Lewis which takes its design influence from the Chrysler Building. http://bit.ly/2fUK6Xf I’d recommend you use a soft neutral paint colour with this wallpaper, such as Dulux Dusted Moss 4, which is a calming neutral with a green tone. Alternatively, a soft grey colour such as Grey Steel 4, which will maintain and light and airy feel. Hi Jo. Love your scheme I think it will look gorgeous! Personally I think a bit of real wood would look great against the blue and add a natural element (need to be a bit careful against the pink though!). I saw this pair of beauties in a charity shop, probably not quite right but I think it would be worth following your instincts and holding out for what you wanted rather than going for second best. Everyone is in such a hurry to have everything finished and perfect immediately but a house, style and furniture evolve over time, so if you can be patient and deal with clothes elsewhere for a bit you may get your dream cupboards!
