Seth bar stool replacement?

I was promised a month ago to get a replacement for one Seth bar stool.
I sent in the pictures and was told the vendor would replace new stool with cut through the leather. I've heard nothing?

These stools are currently on national back order, but are scheduled to ship no later than April 24th. As soon as your replacement ships, I will be sure to send you the tracking information.

Hi Nicola, I wouldn't recommend putting a 900mm worktop on top of a 300mm base units. Worktops can be incredibly heavy and need a strong fixing to the base unit below. Also, the way you've described above, it would be quite awkward to access the cupboards with a 300mm overhang. I think you have two options, 1. To get a 600mm base unit or 2. To get 2x300mm base units that are back to back which will give you storage both sides. The doors under the 300mm overhang can be discreet (eg. without handles). You'll no doubt have breakfast bar stools under here anyway. I hope you find this helpful.

tamp and deborah, I don't actually worry about people seeing my kitchen (or house, for matter) in a slight mess: (a) my friends are not judgmental (or they wouldn't be my friends) and couldn't care less if they can see my compost/mulch (I'm bilingual, y'know); (b) I do try to stay tidy when I cook; it's a bit like being in a lab. As for friends actually *watching* me cook - or rather, *talking* to me while I cook - no! I can't even fill a kettle with water and chew gum at the same time, let alone carry on a conversation while I try to create! But I don't have bar stools, and people still want to gather round me while I cook. So I ensure it's *all* done before anyone arrives. :)

Cheapest option would be to replace countertop with extended version that allows use of flat wood flooring for a stool but this cuts into your living area. You could add thin kitchen wall units or shelf unit, floor mounted at back of breakfast bar to detract eye from change in height of the flooring. This extra storage would be great for occasional use items or cookery books. If you kitchen is a knock through, The step probably incorporates the bricks that made up the base of the removed wall or plumbing , electrics, so it could be expensive and messy to try to extend or reduce the higher level of flooring.

I think a dark browny bronze is a really good colour to go with cashmere. and could also work with gold, chrome is a bit too blue. If you keep the gold handles ( I think they look really nice) then I wouldn't duplicate it too much. I would add wooden bar stools. My sister's kitchen is the same colour, she has used lots of bronze, dark browny violets and wood.
