Sorry one other - is the glass clear? Sometimes looks clear, other photos looks crackled or seeded or possibly frosted.

Just moved into our new house - all the radiators have lovely traditional looking valves - except they are manual not thermostatic (brand new). I’ve only ever had thermostatic (with the numbers) so I’m finding it hard to get my head round how to adjust the temperature of the radiators... I know that clockwise=lower and anti-clockwise=higher. I would find some cheap tiles in the same thickness in a near enough colour and fill in the gap. My concern is less aesthetic and more practical. What happens if you have a spill? How much more annoying will it be cleaning debris that gets kicked under the units? I've a tall cabinet in my utility room which I've yet to install a toe-kick on and I find all sorts under there! Spillages travel farther than you'd think.

It works well - has memory settings, goes up and down very smoothly. You just have to make sure that none of your computer wires etc are caught anywhere when you move it up and down, as otherwise it will topple off!
