How wide an area is this covering?

I am wondering how wide the area of coverage is with the panels in the flat position.

Each panel is 24" long when pulled flat and how many panels you need depends on your space dimensions. Please email us at sales@infinitycanopy.com with the details of your project so we can further assist you.

Thank you for your reply. I would like my panels to lay flat like this and I understand that each panel is about 24", but even so when I put my measurements into your online calculator it says 5 panels for 10 feet which would equal 10 feet of fabric with a wave in the fabric, no?

We wish to install three pairs of Velux roof windows in the roof of our kitchen to increase light levels (particularly in the winter). The kitchen is a single-storey pitched roof extension to the back of the house, approximately 8m long x 6m wide. We believe it was constructed 20-30 years ago. Unfortunately, the existing roof trusses are made entirely out of 4” x 2” timber and, in the opinion of the structural engineers that we have consulted, to support the installation of roof windows the entire roof kitchen needs to be dismantled and rebuilt. We have discovered that the kitchen walls are constructed from 9” solid blockwork so we intend to take advantage of the roof works to install external wall insulation. We are not intending to replace the kitchen interior at this time so will require the units and worktops to be protected and a temporary cover to be installed while the works are taking place.... Any ideas of who to go to please. It has surprised us how difficult it is to get a builder. Many thanks! Caroline..

If you feeling brave, dark stains such as black look stunning and help the building to visually recede against the backdrop of vegetation. It's the tradition finish for agriculture buildings and has a very contemporary look. I'd contrast it with a pale grey deck or beige gravel or stone if you want something warmer. The building needs grounding in its setting, ie. connect it with a path and some planting to prevent it looking like it's been dropped from space! It's going to be a great facility to have in the garden.

I initially felt it would be worth tiling the whole thing but the dimensions of the room are such that there's not really any other way I'd configure it. I might get some budget tiles of the same size and use them for the bit that's out of sight, so the appliances etc are all level. Good point about being able to slide them out easily if need be (although they're all integrated so it'll be a pain in the back side regardless) Thanks for the speedy responses!
