Which tile to choose?!

Any ideas on which option we should choose for our powder room floor? (Just the floor only and FYI the blue wall WILL BE CHANGED)

Definitely Option 1. It's the most neutral, updated option. If you ever decide to change the existing wall tile, you'll have the easiest tile matching the floor.

I'm leaning towards Option 2 as its seems a bit lighter and perhaps better for this small room. It may also allow for more choices of wall colors in the future

agree with comment above - call Cosentino and they can direct you either to a local kitchen showroom with worktop installed in a colour you are considering or they can tell you where you can view the slabs. i live in Ireland and visited the Cosentino warehouse in Dublin to view slabs - it certainly affected our decision making. we went for lagoon and its great - no problem with staining

Hi Campo. Short answer no! Slightly longer answer, there is an issue with the render which is turning the paint blue which I haven't resolved! (Although after removing our kitchen tiles (along with most of the wall!) last week, there is a much more significant damp issue than I thought :( I can't wait to see the pics! How annoying re the rug though, that is a very long wait for a rug! @ lyzdjos , Little Greene have a number of really good colours, mid stone cool and Portland stone ( with paler versions of the colours), clay deep, limestone, rolling fog. I might also look at Edward Bulmer paints.

Hi Yolanda - I'd change the stools, table and chairs, and swap the pendants for something in coloured glass or (personally) metallic, and change the cabinet handles from steel to brass/gold. Instant lift. Splashback-wise, try distressed mirror (suitably tempered and toughened) as it has loads of personality, bounces light around and is easy to clean. Then play with wall colour. Warm accents will stop the wood door from jarring so much (or paint it, if you can convince your husband). You have a lovely kitchen - will take very little to get it where you want!

They're all pretty but I would consider something a bit more retro in keeping with your wall tile. I think something like this would be a good choice.

Since you aren't replacing the wall tile, I think Option 2 may coordinate best and keep with the retro look of the powder room. Option 2 is no maintenance worry vs. the marble option.

if you're keeping the wall definitely option 2. bonus is it's the most cost-effective way of getting your look!

The lighting makes it a little difficult to see the true tones, and lighting can change everything. Option one seems to be the one that blends the best with the existing wall tile color. Hope that helped.

ONE, easier to decorate around. Isn't shiny and will play off the shiny walls just fine. I like the mix. My understanding is the blue wall will be changed and the wall tile will remain.

I would go with a penny tile. It would work better with the vintage feel of your bathroom
